San Luis Potos铆 is also home to home appliance manufacturing companies and a long-standing mining industry. According to the of Economic Development, the state is considered the third zone in the world with more logistic potential, only behind Shanghai and Dubai.

The air terminal of is being modernizing with an investment of more than 400 million pesos with a goal of serving more than 1.2 million people annually. , the Mexican courier company that handles more than 25 million shipments per year, has one of its most important airfreight hubs in San Luis Potos铆, with more than half of their shipments going through the state.
